Veolia Philadelphia Steam Line Repair
TST recently completed a thermal restoration project for Veolia Philadelphia with its innovative ConduFill® technology. A section of buried steam piping on Veolia Philly’s distribution loop was emitting steam vapors and causing damage to an adjacent building. ConduFill® was injected into the void of a two-inch steam line housed within a 10-inch diameter steel casing. The presence of ConduFill® not only repaired the damaging vapor, it also restored thermal efficiency of the line, prolonged the life of the piping system, and eliminated immediate and costly replacement of the line.
