Steam Pipe Restoration at Rutgers University, Busch Campus

TST has successfully completed another thermal restoration project at Rutgers University on the Busch Campus with its innovative ConduFill® technology. Steam piping was thermally restored at two separate locations on the campus, Tunnel Road and Nichols Parking Lot. Both sections of buried 12″ HTHW piping were thermally restored after 452 LF of ConduFill® was injected into the void space within the 22-inch diameter outer steel casings. The presence of ConduFill® allows the university to restore thermal efficiency, prolong the life of the piping system and avoid immediate and costly replacement. TST has successfully completed dozens of repairs on multiple campuses at Rutgers University since 2002.
