TST Completes HTHW Pipe Restoration at Rutgers University
NEW BRUNSWICK, NEW JERSEY – TST has successfully completed another project at Rutgers University that thermally restored buried HTHW piping with its innovative ConduFill technology. Approximately 100LF of a high-temperature hot water piping system was restored when ConduFill was injected into the void space between the existing 12-inch carrier pipe and the 26-inch diameter outer steel casing. The presence of ConduFill allows the university to restore thermal efficiency, prolong the life of the piping system and avoid immediate and costly replacement. TST has successfully complete over a dozen repair and restoration projects on the campuses of Rutgers since 2002.
