TST Completes HTHW Pipe Restoration at Rutgers University
NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ – TST has successfully completed another thermal restoration project at Rutgers University with its innovative ConduFill® technology. A section of buried HTHW piping located under the Co-Gen parking lot was thermally restored when 180 LF of ConduFill® was injected into the void space within a 24-inch diameter outer steel casing. Another section of buried HTHW supply and return piping was thermally restored when 90 LF of ConduFill® was injected into the void space within a 16-inch diameter outer steel casing. The presence of ConduFill® allows the university to restore thermal efficiency, prolong the life of the piping system and avoid immediate and costly replacement. TST has successfully completed dozens of repairs on the campus of Rutgers University since 2002.
