N. Chicago VAMC Insulation Project Awarded

TST is excited to announce the recent award with Steam Management, Inc. (Boston, MA), of an energy-efficiency insulation project at the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center in North Chicago, Illinois. TST will perform an insulation assessment of various buildings on campus to measure identified bare/uninsulated steam valves, strainers, flanges, tanks and other misc. equipment that are a source of unnecessary heat losses. TST will then design, manufacture and install custom-made Removable Insulation Covers in order to restore thermal efficiency at the facility. In conjunction with RICs, TST will also identify, measure and install ASJ fiberglass pipe covering on various sections of bare steam piping throughout many of the same buildings at the facility. Work is scheduled to begin at the end of June and be completed by September 2018. This will be our first project with Steam Management, Inc. and we are looking forward to working together and completing a successful project.
