Energy-Efficiency Insulation Project at Livermore VAMC Awarded
TST and its sister company, PCS, Inc. are excited to announce the recent award with H20 Applied Technologies of an energy-efficiency insulation project at the Livermore VAMC, which is part of the VA Palo Alto Health Care System. TST will perform an insulation assessment of various buildings on campus to measure and verify identified bare/uninsulated steam valves, strainers, flanges, tanks and other misc. equipment that are a source of unnecessary heat losses. TST will then design, manufacture and install custom-made Removable Insulation Covers in order to restore thermal efficiency at the facility. Work is scheduled to begin in mid-August and be completed by November 2018.
