TST Project Award: Steam Distribution System Upgrades at Salem VAMC
SALEM, VIRGINIA – TST and US2 are excited to announce the recent award of an energy-efficiency improvement project at the Salem VA Medical Center in Salem, VA. TST will perform an insulation assessment of all buildings on campus to identify bare, uninsulated steam valves, strainers, flanges, tanks and other misc equipment that are a source of unnecessary heat losses. TST will then design, manufacture and install up to 1000 Removable Insulation Covers in order to restore thermal efficiency at the facility. Work is scheduled to begin in August and be completed by mid-October 2012.
