TST Awarded Insulation Upgrades

CO Dept. of Human Services

ECM Holding Group, Inc. (Oshkosh, WI) recently awarded TST an energy-improvement insulation project on the Colorado Dept. of Human Services campus located in Pueblo, CO.
As part of Schneider Electric’s Energy Savings Performance Contract, and under contract with ECM Holding Group, TST will measure, design, fabricate and install over 350 custom-made Removable Insulation Covers (RIC) on steam pipe fittings and other heating equipment in 30 buildings, 2 steam pits and various underground tunnels which will reduce heat losses and save energy at the facility. Having removable, reusable insulation will save the facility money over the years as the insulation can be removed and reinstalled when maintenance or repairs are necessary on the valves, strainers and other heating equipment. In addition, TST will also install ASJ fiberglass pipe insulation and PVC fitting covers on bare steam pipe and fittings in many of the same mechanical spaces on campus. TST will kick off the project in mid-April and expects to be onsite for 3-4 weeks.
